Have you ever used Tallow Balm before? I'll admit, the first time I thought about rubbing beef fat on my face my first thought was "ummm, yuck, no thank you!". But I had enough of my friends doing this (and saw first hand how beautiful their skin was!) that I knew I had to learn more and see what this tallow balm was all about. 

Here's what I found out. Before all of the man-made chemicals and unnatural substances that are in so many of today's beauty products, tallow was a prominent ingredient of our ancestor's skin care routines. 

If you know me, then you know I love getting back to the basics and following the simple, natural, pure ways of our ancestors. Their ancient wisdom has completely revitalized my own skin.

Almost 2 years ago I made the switch from modern beauty products and went all in on tallow balms. Tallow is the ONLY moisturizer I've used in the last 2 years. Yes, even on my FACE! And I'm here to tell you my skin is the BEST it's ever been - which has been a total confidence booster for me personally. My skin is now vibrant, soft and smooth, and so beautifully glowy - I swear I've been reverse aging since implementing tallow balms! I rarely have breakouts and I feel so much more confident in my own skin. 

It's no wonder I've had such a transformation - tallow is a naturally nourishing, pure, vitamin-rich ingredient. It is rich in fat soluble Vitamins A, D, and K which all have a profound impact on skin and overall health. This Tallow Balm is carefully handcrafted from the coveted kidney suet from my "Pretty Girls", as I called them. Having the highest quality tallow to make these tallow balms is essential and I knew if I wanted the best tallow balm available, I'd have to use my own cow's! 

I've partnered with a beloved beef buyer, who quickly became a friend, to bring these tallow balms to you. I provide the tallow and Amanda masterfully handcrafts the tallow balm.

Amanda works through a rendering process using only 3 ingredients from start to finish: tallow from my beautiful cows, organic fractionated coconut oil, and essential oils (if you choose a scented balm - the unscented does not use essential oil). 

The tallow is all grass-fed and we use only the kidney suet, which is the purest form of tallow from the animal.
