Marrow Bones

Have you ever had a marrow bone boat? This is the femur bone from the front legs, split in half lengthwise, so it opens up into what we call a "marrow boat". We like to grill the bone, then scoop the marrow out and use however you like!

A couple of favorite ways to serve - make a bone marrow butter to rub on your steak before cooking, 

Season with your favorite herbs/garlic/salt/pepper and serve with crackers.

I had a customer call to tell me that after feeding the bone marrow to their daughter she slept through the night for the first time!! I told her that couldn't have been a coincidence! A very popular baby food that is so rich in nutrients.

There are only 2 of these bones per animal - so they are very scarce and very desired. Snag these up when you can! 1 bone per pack, which is split in half lengthwise, so the bone folds open to create 2 bone boats.
